As a financier of affordable housing developments, the Lowcountry Housing Trust is not able to provide direct assistance to individuals looking for affordable housing. However, there are places you can look for help:

Q: How can I apply for your down payment and closing cost program?
Individual homebuyers CANNOT apply directly to LHT for down payment and closing cost assistance. To learn more about the Homebuyer Assistance Program please contact a local housing counseling agency to sign up for a homeownership course.
Q: What is considered an affordable home?
An affordable home for your family is one in which your monthly mortgage plus taxes and insurance is no more than 30% of your monthly income.
